Update 2/21/10: I AM SO SICK. CAN YOU HELP?? Little Rusty spent a night at the Animal Emergency Clinic and is now at The Griffith Animal Hospital in Cedar Park. He has had x-rays, bloodwork, is on IV fluids and antibiotics. They will be doing an Ultrasound on Tuesday. He is weak and will not eat, his parvo test is negative. His bill is large and we are seeking donations through his PAYPAL PAW or by calling 331-8555.

GORGEOUS BOY!!! Little Rusty is a precious, a little bit shy, Spaniel type mix who was rescued as a stray from a kill shelter. He does well with other dogs and is anxious to be loved by a new family. We do not know about cats, house training or small children at this time.

UPDATE: 2/17/10: I JUST CANNOT GET A BREAK! ACTUALLY I DID. A BREAK AS IN A FRACTURED LEFT BACK TIBIA! What did I do wrong to have just one sadness after another? I am a "delightful" puppy. Everyone loves me. I just do not deserve this kind of so called luck. Who was it that said "break a leg" for good luck? They must have been crazy!!!!

Anyway, now I need surgery on my leg and my Foster Mom is BROKE from all my other care. Can you help???

UPDATE: 1/31/10: Kirby has survived his Parvo but he is still thin and having loose stools from stress. He is a beautiful sweet puppy who would benefit by having a home environment. We have an outstanding Vet bill from his care of over $900. If you are unable to foster, please consider any size donation. Thank you!

UPDATE: 1/20/10: PLEASE HELP US TO HELP KIRBY...... Beautiful Kirby was diagnosed with Parvo today and is receiving emergency treatment at our Vet. We are desperately in need of financial assistance as we saved Tyler but it cost us $600+.

BIG BOY...... What a gorgeous pup. Those eyes are hypnotic and his personality is great! He loves people and playing with other dogs.

Kirby needs house training and puppy classes. We believe he is an Aussie mixed with a larger breed dog and that as an adult he could be 60+ pounds. He would love a nice fenced yard in which to play.

TYLER THE TERRIFIC !! What a mighty little guy. He survived Parvo which is no small feat and is ready to go to his forever home!! He is a precocious, active and lovable pup who will stay small with a projected adult weight of 12 pounds.

He will be available to go to his new home around February 15th as with Parvo, a pup can shed the virus while being recovered. He will be neutered and microchipped before he is adopted.

RIN TIN MIN....... Skeeter is a funny guy, a Shepherd type mixed with a small breed. He loves to run, play, chase balls and play with toy! This guy would really love to be adopted by an active family who will train him, maybe work with him in agility or flyball and give him lots of attention! ** FOSTER HOME NEEDED ** DOUBLE STUFF!! Oreo or "O" for short is a vivacious, clumsy, affectionate Border Collie mix pup who will be around 55+ pounds as an adult. He will require a fenced yard, puppy training, house training (he does pretty well with a crate) and a family who will commit to working his intellect and body.

He can be a bit "mouthy" at times but means no harm but a young child might become frightened so no children under 10 years of age please.

UPDATE: 1/20/10: Bindi has fully recovered and is very full of herself! She has been spayed an microchipped and is eagerly awaiting her forever family!

LITTLE BINDI....... is an unknown mix. But if cuteness were a breed it would be called Bindi! She is affectionate, gives great kisses and her tail doesn't stop wagging. We believe she will be under 20 pounds as an adult.

We are treating her for an upper respiratory infection at this time. Bindi will need a puppy proofed home with a safe, fenced yard, children over 5 years and someone home much of the day for her enjoyment! House and basic puppy training will help his adoption be successful.

ADORABLE APRIL... Little April was born on Dec 4th to a dog that had been adopted out of a shelter and her new family was surprised to find out that she was pregnant. We are unsure of her mix (her Mother is pictured in #8 below and weighs 17 lbs). She could be a shih tzu mix, beagle mix, JRT mix, Pug mix or Terrier mix. We just don't know. The vet anticipates her weight to be around 15-20 lbs when full grown. Her coloring is solid white. She is playful & affectionate. She loves to play with other dogs, chase a toy or explore the yard. She is a special girl.

She is doing well with crate training and will need continued work with housetraining. We are recommending that April's adopter takes her to basic obedience training when she is old enough because it is such a wonderful bonding experience for the puppy and her adopter.

Due to her small size and sharp puppy teeth, no children under the age of 6 please. She would love a fenced yard in which to play and someone home most of the day. Local Austin area adoptions only.
